house renting...

me and my boyfriend are hoping to find a flat, but does anybody know if many places would rent out to a 17 year old (my boyrfriends 18). im not 18 for another 4 months.

I would say most places wouldnt care, and if there is a problem, rent it in your boyfriends name, or else wait until you turn 18
There's no legal reason for you to need to be 18, but chances are the landlords will want either extra money on the deposit, or the name of someone prepared to stand as guarantor for you - possibly both of these. When we first rented, my dad was guarantor for us, so it can be family.
most estate agents/letting agents (Private land lords included) will except a parent or guardian to be a guarantor, basically sign a contract saying that they will pay if you fail to.
