Hi

I while ago a heard of a matt that you could put under your washing machine to make it quieter while spinning, but I can't find it anyhere.

Has anyone seen such a thing or have any other ideas to reduce noise (its currently on laminate flooring)?

Thanks

Pity the above site also says they're all sold out!

But Jennifer_cro, why not try to get hold of an offcut of foam-backed carpet? That should do the job just as well

a carpet offcut, some bubble wrap or even cardboard works well
Thanks for that Heathfield ...... but does it say they the are the only stockist in the world?or that they will not be re-stocking? I though Jennifer could still use it as a point of reference - this was covered by her any other ideas section - I thought!

Hi

Thanks for replies - I emailed Lakeland who unfortunately aren't going to get any more stock in the future. I did a search on google and found another supplier so I'm waiting to hear back.

If that fails I'll try the carpet or bubble wrap suggestions.

Thanks again.

Far better to buy a spirit level and use it to adjust the feet so the machine is level ... and dont overfill the machine ... an ordainary mixed load of fabric should have a gap of 10cm approx ( a hands width approx) from top of load to inside of door void ... mats / bubble wrap / carpet will all compress over time and then be a more unlevel surface than you had before ...
