want to rent but i have a dog

Weve been renting privately for the past few years and my dogs not been a problem as the ladylady was fine by this.....we are now looking to move and rent through an estate agents, does anybody know if its going to be a huge problem that we have a dog? Ive heard that hardly anyone will rent to someone with pets.

Generally they put a little disclaimer on rental agreements, but many times for a little "extra" on the rent and a biger deposit landlords would be willing for a dog to stay.

So I'd say don't discount properties totally on the basis of those who say no pets.
