My Yucca is dying

We have central heating and it has been fine for 18 months however over the last 6 months it has been dying off nearly all leaves have gone.



They seem to be dying from the trunk to the tip (last) is this over or under - watering? I have seen two different website that contradict each other and dont know whether to water it ot not!!


Any help would be appreciated.
