How would I go about this? I've Googled it but there seem to be some somewhat contradictory entries, such as do/don't use oven/microwave. I don't have any gels and I'm not fussed about the smell but would really appreciate any info from people who have done it before!

Thanks!

Well I have just let some dry naturally and they seem to be ok ... unless you were talking about doing it in vast quantities!

Did you just leave them on a windowsill or something? How long does it take?

Thanks

I just spread them out on some kitchen roll on the kitchen window sill however I was not trying to preserve the fragrance I think you need to do something special for that. I was using mine for a collage I was doing.

Hang them upside down, still on their stems, in a dry place out of sunshine (which will fade them). Be warned that white roses go brown and coloured roses darken.

Alternatively, put them in Borax (which I think you can still get from the Chemist) - it's a white powder. Ensure you get the powder inside the flower to keep it's shape, then just leave them for a while and the borax will remove all the moisture. I think the colour lasts better with Borax. Hope this helps!
