Corner Sofa Cover

I would like to buy a stretch sofa cover for my corner sofa which has battered upholstery but a goo well-build frame and padding etc. It is really just to tidy it up a bit for visitors calling over xmas.
Has anyone bought one of these? And do I need to get exact measurements or do they stretch to fit most sizes/shapes (within reason)?
