I bought this plant in spring and being told it was hardy planted it outside. The flowers and leaves were very prolific until recently when all the leaves have appeared to shrivel and die off.
Is this normal? I have now heard it makes a better house plant.

I imagine that its going through the dormant period (although it does seem a little early) and should reappear in the spring.
Good news is its not considered to be one of the invasive varieties.
