Silver Fish

I have started to see silver fish on my living room and hallway floor late at night. Any ideas how i can get rid of them.

i'v got them in my bathroom .supposidly they like damp conditions,not sure if this is true or not.i would think insect powder killer or spray will do the job. Alot of people have never heard of them.

We get them occasionally in the bathroom, Google 'how to get rid of silver fish', there's lots there.

Hi, I dont think moisture attracts them, I have seen them in arears that are clean dry and open,  anything that gets rid of crawling insects should get rid of them,  but be aware that using any insectides in enclosed spaces such as inside a closed house in winter is not a good idea, Read this http://www.healthychild.com/database/special_problems_of _pesticide_exposure_for_children.htm

Silver fish thrive best in bathrooms & kitchens where it is either damp or there is a lot of moisture and there is usually heat in these rooms also which they love. Insect spray will kill them but where you see some there is usually loads more nearby.
