Can you gloss plasterboard? if so should I just do a mist coat and then gloss?

Why would you want to gloss plasterboard?

Give it a couple of coats of emulsion first.

it's only a very small section on my staris zac, i know it sounds odd, but i will look good in the end.
Thanks nail it, should i do the first one as a mist coat?
