I have looked on loads of sites and am confused. Just want a frame - double and wood. Nothing too fancy or costly. Any idea folks?

Bed world looks super, E-Bay just sell secondhand I understand? from dodgy dealers? Amazon from experience fail to deliver and if they do it is sulky men, so no go for me. I can nail a plank of wood and that is it altho' a mate is a qualified carpenter! Cheeky to ask him. Problem is it is a prop for a house sale so don't really want it and confused because what to get? Metal or wood or slats or springs or upholstered! Us poor consumers - so much choice so little time! But thanks everyone!!

I have a local supermarket which sells goods at very cheap prices which have been returned to big stores such as John Lewis. I got a JL bed frame less than half price

If you can collect, try Local Bargain search on ebay, or Preloved or Gumtree on your local area. Also Freecycle in local area, but beds go quickly.
