Hi andyjevs, you have come highly recommended from shaneystar as an expert on houseplants !! There has been a post previous regarding 'lucky bamboo' grown in water. The person asking wanted to know if they were able to transplant into compost, and if so any particular type. I watched for responses as I have one of these plants and so far no replies have been forthcoming !!  I asked on C.B. where shaneystar redirected me to you  !! Any ideas most welcome.

I would go for it into a general all purpose potting compost and keep it moist (not wet !!!)
I can't promise anything as i'm not terribly familiar with these "novelty" plants.

We used to grow a lot of hydroponic plants at work. It was easy to transplant the plants from water to soil but you could never put a soil grown plant into water....something to do with the type of root produced.

Sorry i can't be more specific but if it was me, i'd go for it.
Hope this helps an bit
