Hve bought a new Esse stove model OD , oil burning. I know I need a flue (chimney) in kitchen but can I have an extractor fan for this model. You cannot have one with an Aga but you can with a Stanley. Can anyone advise.

I have an Aga with a balanced flue (no chimney) also have extractor although originally advised this not appropriate. Has been in situ for nearly 11 years with no problems.

I seem to remember that Esse do sell extractors although no sure about for oil models.

If you are looking to bulid in an integrated extractor then i would recommend the Elica BI80UHS.  Although you need to decide if you can extract to an outside wall or wether it has to be recirculating with carcoal filters before you really go any further.
