Since returning from holiday a fortnight ago we have received 5 calls from an 'energy initiative firm who are not selling anything nor trying to make us change energy suppliers '. On 3 occasions we told them we were not interested and today I told them to remove our number from their list and if they phoned again they would be reported for being a nuisance. The reply was 'thank you for your time'!!
The thing is I have no idea who to report them to or how to get hold of them.
I do have the caller's number.

If you have the company name as well as numbers can be fake
since we bought a phone blocker we have had only a couple of cold calls get through and we have blocked them......even though we are registered with the TPS......phone blocker-well worth the small amount we paid for it!
TPS only lists calls made in the uk and it does not block them its the threat to the company who can call you from the uk getting a huge fine if there are reported numerous times and depends what you call a small amount i dont call £40/50 a small amount
We're registered with the Telephone Preference Service but still a few nuisance calls get through from abroad. They are displayed as international on the phone screen. I answer them and generally it's a recorded message that ends up saying press one for further information. I press one and when a "human" voice speaks I put the phone down alongside the radio and leave it there until they hang up.

I did this on the last nuisance call and could here a woman saying hello, hello are you there. It cheered me up no end.
