Flat Pack Fence ...

Maybe a stupid question but why do fence manufacturers sell a flat pack fence that we can take home in a hatchback car and nail together at home.
Seems like a really good idea and a massive gap in the market. We don't all have roof bars or vans to use !
Can I patent the idea ... You heard it hear first. :-)

Why not go to a local woodyard and see what lengths and thicknesses are available ?

Problem solved. Local fence company has sold me the parts to build my own 6ftx6ft slatted panel fence plus a bag of nails. All fitted in my VW Golf. Sometimes all you need do is ask !
