I just read the tea towel post (yuk) which prompted this question,I use an awful lot of kitchen towel, for every thing,(tea towels are for holding hot things)cleaning the loo, kitchen, drying my hands etc,and get through about 9 (tesco own) a week,is this obsessive?

does anyone else go through as much?

i wash about 6 tea towels every day..and also use a lot of the paper kitchen towels..and even worse those dettol wet wipes..i go through loads of those..i think most women use a lot of these things now...i read the tea towel post with horror also..but years ago women used to reuse the tea towels several times damp or not and no one died from it..i went to the back to back house museum and it showed you the unhygienic as we know it to be practises ..but its how they lived..the tea towel posts mum has probably copy her behaviour of her own mother..mr mullein doesnt put the tea towel in the washer when he has finished with it and its next to the sink so he has no excuse..so i have to go on a tea towel snatch when he has washed up..lol..

I suppose its because I used 2 be a chef, health and hygiene and all that but also because of mr L suppressed immune system I've had to be careful with stuff like that,I couldn't bear the though of a soggy dish cloth either, although my mum uses tea towels and a dish cloth she always washes them like you do.
Obsessive I'd say lozzzz, I hope they're made from recycled paper!
