all i can tell you is the names, some of these are not here today and you can only visit some of the sites for example one of the wonders is the temple of artemis at ephesus (turkey) the other six are the great pyramids of giza, the hanging gardens of babylon, the statue of zeus at olympia, collosus of rhodes and lighthouse of alexandria. good luck with the rest of the info
and it is said that the 8th wonder is Taj Mahal in India/the Great Wall in China.

from what I've heard the 7 wonders of this time include Niagra Falls, The Grand Canyon and Easter Island, I was wondering if this is correct and what the rest are! thanks for your answers so far!
If you're talking about NATURAL wonders of the modern world I'd personally add Iguazu Falls in Argentina/Brazil. For plenty of examples of a wonderful looking world there's an amazing exhibition called 'Earth Viewed From The Air' (or something) which you can see online at http://www.yannarthusbertrand.com/
The chap at the top missed the Maulsoleum at Halicarnassus (Bodrum). The Mausoleum overlooked the city of Halicarnassus for many centuries. It was untouched when the city fell to Alexander the Great in 334 B.C. and still undamaged after attacks by pirates in 62 and 58 B.C.. It stood above the city ruins for some 17 centuries, before being destroyed by a series of earthquakes.
