Now that most of us use collapseable brollies I have given my umbrella stand a new job. I keep my gift wrapping paper in it.

That gift paper won't keep the rain off !

Alas, my half-a-dozen golf umbrellas aren't collapsable!

A collection of gift wrap by the front door must be a strange sight for visitors!
