Salt is needed to set dye in fabrics and Dylon sells it in packets but is it any different from ordinary table salt?

I bought bog standard table salt when I dyed something recently. Seems to have worked fine.

Thanks, Ecclescake from JuniperEccles. You've saved me some money. (I've just noticed how I spelt 'Fabric' - I must cut my nails !!!)
