I looked through a few expert guides and they seemed to agree on the following... BUT before you try it, YOU MUST do as advised and test it on an inconspicuous area of the leather in case the method reacts badly on you particular product. Saturate the stained area with an alcohol-based hair spray - the alcohol content in the hair spray should break up the ink. You then need to blot the stain with a clean cloth.... But these guides EMPHASISE: some fabrics may be damaged by the hair spray solution. If in doubt, test on an inconspicuous area first, or consult with a professional cleaner.
