Listening to him brought to mind this, 'Sincerity is everything. If you can fake that you've got it made.'

I think his guilt is more obvious than Terry Wogan's wig!

Yes Sandy, how true.
but did you expect anything else from him?
melodramatic actor of the year award?
Much was made, in the run up to the trial, of his iPhone, and the fact that detectives were making great efforts to access it - Stories suggested he had forgotten his passcode, and apparently detectives flew out to Apple in the US and engaged with the FBI in order to gain access to his texts/call records.

I never heard any follow up to this story though - Did they get access, or were they unable to? Anyone know?
No. I do believe he is distraught over what he has done.

His reputation does seem to suggest he d.. ..!

oops, don't know what happened there ^^^^
Well, that, I suppose – as well as having plenty of money to buy lots of defence ... that lad'll walk, if you know what I mean!
He is distraught at the thought of prison.
I thought it was awful. How awful must her parents have felt hearing how awful he felt.

I agree with royfromaus, like many other celebs he will probably get away with it. To me I think he is an arrogant so& so, with a very nasty temper who thinks he is above the law. I truly feel sorry for the girl's parents.

If he's convicted he'll have time to reflect on how unfair things can be. You shoot someone in a fit of rage and it effects your entire life thereafter.
Agree completely with Sandy, he needs to be locked up for a few years but I expect a weeks course on anger management will have to do.
So he's distraught at the thought of time in prison? At least he's alive!
One question Oscar, in 4 parts! Why did you not knock the toilet door, or call out to her, or check the bed, or shout a warning that you had a gun? If she was in the toilet, which she was, she would've answered along the lines of, 'Don't worry Oscar, its only me'! Just asking, thats all. Also, does anyone on Answerbank, who is in a relationship, lock the toilet door when there is only 2 of you in the house, again, just asking!!
so hes guilty do we think ?
SP, those are tricky questions.. I'm sure he will come up with (im)plausible answers.

The first one is easily knocked down. If he'd knocked on the toilet door the robbers might have fired through it and shot him. Though why robbers would lock themselves in a toilet might need some explaining.
if a burglar locked himself in my bathroom i would leave the house sharpish and call the police ... i'm also a registered gun owner
don't forget that in Australia, Lindy Chamberlain - she of the dingo baby case - was convicted of killing her own baby. It appears this was because the jury thought she acted in an unwomanly way by not showing enough emotion in the dock, breaking down, weeping, wailing and so on.

She was subsequently cleared on appeal after some time in jail. Evidence was found indicating that it was indeed a dingo, just as she'd said al along.

So it behoves any defendant in a murder case to look as anguished as possible, whether they're guilty of not. If you don't, it will be held against you.
