I`ve got some little pots of basil that I need to pot up. I`ve got two pots:- 14cm depth x 15cm width at top and 20cm depth x 21cm width at top. The ticket on the plant says height up to 60cm. It doesn`t mention spread. I don`t know which pots to use. I have grown basil once before and it was in a pot the size of the smaller one I have but that might not have been the same variety.

How wrong I was. :-)

Thanks Wolf. I`ve just figured it. An American website seems to suggest sweet basil is quite big (they talk in gallon pots) so I`ll go with the large one.
