Polishing a Leather Chair

I have a leather chair in a window position, at the moment there is a lot of sunlight on it -- what is the best way to protect it -- It needs a good leather polish, would that protect it from the sun? And what polish would anyone recommend? Thanks !

Never had a leatherchair, but I read the classic car mags, which advertise leather feed and restoration products for old car interiors.   Might be worth having a look.

I would also suggest Leather polish that is used to clean leather in cars
