I hope this is the right section. I have to return a faulty recorder to John Lewis in Liverpool from N. Ireland. I cannot find a delivery service that does not require me to set up an account.
I have tried CityLink, no luck, and no-one at DHL in Belfast is answering the phone. Am going around in circles here.
Can anyone help with suggestions?
Can I just take it to the Post office and send by Parcelforce? Do I need an account with them also?
Many thanks

not as far as I know but you do need to be on good terms with your bank manager.

Thanks, baza. -:)
I would take it to the post office
It's a pity that the John Lewis at Sprucefield isn't going to happen.
Agreed Sandy, grrrrrrrrrrr
Mailboxes (mbe.co.uk) pack and send most things and have a walk-in service at around 100 branches in the UK

I agree, Sandy. We can hope.
Try Interparcel, agents for several of the large courier companies (City Link, TNT, Parcelforce).

Just go to your local Post Office. You'll be able to send it Royal Mail or Parcelforce, no messing about with people not answering phones or setting up an account. Just nice and simple!
Click the following and Scroll down the page for details of returning an item to John Lewis:-

I got this link from a fellow ABer a few weeks back.

They picked up the parcel and it didn't cost as much as by Royal Mail.

I thought "Staples" went bust?!
Some stores closed but not the company.
