HI JOLC5. I hope you feel better soon .But  in the mean time stick to light bland foods nothing greasy or spicy. Lightly buttered toast or boiled potatoes and boiled chicken are good. as for drinks there is nothing better than good old water, or if not milk as it lines the stomach.
I always stick to dry toast and water in the morning, progressing onto comfort food like cheesy pasta, baked or mashed potatoes later on.  As long as it isn't too greasy you should be fine.  Get better soon!
Plain boiled rice is supposed to be quite good, never tried it myself though.
You've probably recovered by now, but next time, try ginger - eg ginger biscuits or ginger tea. They suggest this to pregnant women to soothe morning sickness. I've found dry cereal or dried apricots are edible when you feel rough. And try and drink some juice. If you can't even keep that down, try flat lemonade - yes, I know it sounds weird, but it's very good when you can't even keep liquids down.

Next time, drink some milk before you go out (as Joe says, it lines your stomach) and force yourself to drink a pint of water before bed. You won't feel like it, but it really helps keep the worst of a hangover at bay!
A cup of sugary tea and then some salty crisps works for me!

I always find a banana is always quite good.  Something to do with the minerals it has (potassium?) helps alleviate hangover symptoms.

A treatment I swear by which has been used in my family for years is coke and crisps. Yes I know it sounds strange but it works.
I've had stomach upsets and all sorts and after a few hours of being sick I drink coke. Just a tiny sip at a time and after a while I can keep it down. Compared to water which just comes straight up again. They do say that lemonade works the same way.

Once the coke has stopped me vomiting then I nibble salted crisps. Because I need the salt to retain fluid and the crisps seem to work the trick. You soon feel much better after that

If you feel icky, I find Rich Tea biscuits are good. When your stomach feels stronger, I like eating baked fish fingers and mashed potato.

I'm with happy-face on this one! Coke and crisps work wonders.

Coke started out as stomach medicine or something like it, so there might be some clever reason to why coke helps.

yes, I agree with that. Coke and crisps (or toast) sre the way to go. Always works for me. I also have some milk thistle in a glass of water, and that seems to help
