lettuce regrowth

we have pruned some romaine lettuce at an early stage of growth.


Will there be renewed growth from the remaining stems?

It will regrow and the taste is just fine, but the shape of the heads will not be as nice as the first cutting.  Try cutting just the outer rows of leaves instead of cutting the entire head... this seems to produce a better quality second growth, at least for us...
