Light bulb blowing?

My girlfriend has had a problem over the past few years with her blowing the bulbs and fuses in many of the properties we've lived in over the years. She seems to think that its occurrence relates to her mood. She says it only happens when she gets excited about something and touches something electrical. Is there any possible explanation to this, or is it just nonsense?

Light bulbs are very sensitive to changes in atmospheric preasure and air tempereture as are human beings - but some of us are less aware of this than others. Also light bulbs are designed to go after a few weeks. Some companies actually employ 'testers' whose job is to discard any bulbs that are too well made!

As far as fuses go I've no idea.

It happens to me too! I have often set the trip switch off! It never happens to anyone else in the house only me. I have no logical explanation, we must be a rare and special breed!!!
My daughter manages to wreck anything electric,  Electric lawnmower, hairdryers, irons, toasters you name it she blew it up, thank goodness she now has her own house,  At her house she switched on a light and blew all the fuses on all circuits but an electrician could find no fault.
I don't think it's connected to her moods or I haven't noticed, possibly because I was thinking about the cost!
