Want to do a bee themed planter for children, which will be in a public area. I will use bee friendly plants. I could use hexagon shapes, skeps and hives for planting in. I had better not use mobile bees or scrap metal, as these might be pinched. Any other ideas please?

What about painting the planter in black and yellow stripes.
