Just found out that boy #2 (8 years old) has to make some model tudor furniture. I have looked at pictures of such furniture and have no idea where to get him started - I don't normally do the crafty stuff as I am hopeless at it. Would be grateful for any ideas, thanks. (PS - didn't know where to put this so picked CB.)

simpl chests made from cardboard with cardboard 'carved' cut outs in tudor rose etc stuck on then the whole thing painted in a dark brown with a wood grain. a trestle style table made from thick card again painted a folding screen with gothic style cut outs. they had simple furniture then mostly chests, benches and tables Some of the dolls house companies sell plans which you might be able to download and scale up as needed

Thanks for your reply Rowan - have since found out it's optional so I shall save my creative 'skills' for something compulsory.
