How to Get Steamer Baskets Clean

I have a vegetable steamer, the baskets although cleaned regularly are no longer clear, look grimmy, any one cleaned these I though bleach might be the answer but would appreciate someone opinion. The steam is fine its just the baskets.

The plastic discolours with heat and use unfortunately you wont get them back to 'clean looking' again but so long as they are washed well its only a cosmetic thing

Assuming the baskets are non-metallic, I'd try an oxygen-based bleaching agent (like those "oxi"-type stain-removing powders). Chlorine-based bleach is not a good idea, and never use it on anything metallic.
