Hello

I have a price watch set up for a book I like and recently I discovered it had dropped to 1p on Amazon Marketplace with £2.80 postage obviously.

I snapped it up, delighted.

Three days later, the company emailed me, saying they had mis-priced the item and were cancelling my order and refunding me.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Many thanks

No there isn't. There is no way of forcing a retailer to sell you an item at the listed price if it was a mistake.
No, I don't think so. If it's a genuine mistake they can cancel. On Amazon marketplace there is a facility for the seller to cancel the sale. for example they could have simply said that they had run out of stock. I know I advertised a book on there and then when someone bought it I couldn't find it!
As I understand it the price given is an offer to potential buyers to make a deal, if you try to make one they still have the right to reject. Bit off I know, but... if it is a genuine mistake, probably only fair.
