Invasion of the spiders. They've been breeding like crazy all through the damp summer - and now they're ready to move indoors

Yuk-I killed one bigger than daddy long legs last week-and my son told me off-he says they scream to 'mates' when cornered so will be besieged now-lol-double yuk
Yes, they've been moving in on me for a couple of weeks & I think there's at least one in every room...well, except in my bedroom, I have to draw the line somewhere :)
<<Shudders>>. Loathe and detest the things. OH is not much use either.

Thankfully I have a cat who will eat anything and considers spiders "really good sport". Although when he comes for a fuss with a fat hairy leg hanging out of his gob, I go off him a bit.
Had a large Cardinal Spider scuttle across the floor the other night...

snags YOU could have warned me!! UCK!!
Cecil!!!!

Or at least it's Cecil's brother, it looks just like him. Cecil incidentally lived behind my fireplace for ages. Swear he stomped across the floor and not walked, even the dog gave him a wide berth.
When lil pasta was small,we had Harry the Hairy spider living in our cottage. Living in a flat now-I rather miss him. Spiders are our friends.. ;-)
Yep, they are. They eat all the other creepies which are way ickier!
Im the official spider remover in our house....glass and paper method for me and then into the garden. Trouble is, i'm not a great fan of those big black buggers but still have to get rid. Other spiders don't bother me....the joys of being a gardener i suppose.
I really don't like them but have learned to catch and release them....much more fun when we had snoopy and smudge they could hunt them for hours....and all we had to do was sweep up the legs
