Protecting New cushion-flooring?

Hi, I am having new cushion-flooring laid on Wednesday has any-one any tips how to prevent scratches etc. when we put heavy appliances back i.e. cooker and washer ?? Thanks Twinny xx

Probably too late now, but if you squirt a good dose of washing up liquid with a little bit of water on the floor - not soaked, just wet, the appliances should slide in and the soapy water will just dry up under the appliance, but make sure you wipe away any that is visible on the floor you are walking on so as you don't slip.
