getting water marks out of wood furniture

I've got a couple of marks on a wooden table from putting cold drinks on it without using a place mat. Does anyone know the best way to get them out without using branded products as i'm in a different country. Thank you xx

Damp tea towel, warm iron....gone

really!!? ow thankyou, i love you so much!!! guess who's gonna be getting their flat deposit back to go shopping with :-)

Lay the damp tea towell over the watermark then hold a warm..not hot iron on it for about five seconds, do this four or five times and the watermark should disappear
