Hi..The Antiques Roadshow I attended is part of a new series which has just started to be broadcast..I don't know when my particular show will be sent out, but it was filmed at Somerleyton Hall near Lowestoft. It was quite an experience.Somerleyton hall is used quite a lot for weddings...Have you had any good experiences lately? x.

Hi John - I noticed it was on last Sunday and wondered - keep us posted. No new experiences but am feeling good physically at the moment so thats good. Went to see Dorian Grey last night - that was a thought provoking film - I enjoyed it although it wasnt for everyone

Somerleyton Hall ! Just down the road from me .I have a friend who used to live in the gamekeepers cottage in the grounds ( hardly a cottage ,more like a mansion :). I shall have to look out for that particular AT roadshow. .I didn't realise they had filmed there .I must peruse The Mercury more closely instead of just reading hatches ,matches and despatches :)

She doesn't live there any more ruthann ,she's in Brammerton now .She was one of the Hughes (norfolk radio ) family married into .She used to have a menswear shop in Lowestoft the name of which escapes me and a branch in the rows in Yarmouth . But they are long gone now .
I'm not too bad Peri .We've had a fairly good dry summer here apart from June so the old bones are not too creaky but I am dreading the winter and the damp .It's so dry here at the moment my lawn is going brown and I'm having to get the hosepipe out :)

No ruthan she married Peter Hughes ,Simons father. Peter died about three years ago .She's a very old friend .We must have been friends now for forty years .Coes doesn't ring a bell .Mind you my memory is shocking these days .
It'll probably come to me in the middle of the night .Failiing that I'll have to phone and ask her:)

shaney my boys went to school with simons son and daughter and with his sisters children cant remember her name small world isnt it
