I am suspecting a neighbour of mine ( in a small purpose built block of flats) of drug dealing. I would not dare approach him, as he doesn't look approachable, despite the fact I see him with a small child sometimes. However so often I see and hear people pulling up outside either in a car, on a bike, or by foot, just randomly being let in and exchanging something and then leaving quite quickly, and this appears to be at any time in the day (and very late at night). Should I report this to the police? Would they genuinely investigate, just because a neighbour has a suspicion and is worried ?
you could also send an annonymous let to your local police stn. I would definately report it. Just be careful to get spotted watching them as they will know its you.
Not much evidence - you don't like the look of him and some of his mates don't stop long when they call to see him.
I dont think you've got a lot to go on, why not spend your time more fruitfully spying on another of your ,in all likelihood, perfectly innocent neighbours
I'm just saying there is no reason to suspect he's a dealer, other than he's got more friends than bond. And what does 'randomly being let' in mean exactly?
If it were me I wouldn't hesitate to report it...anonymously.
I have first hand experience what these dealers can do to ruin lives....I have also seen what you think you are seeing and I was dead right.....if your wrong all well and good..
