I'm looking at a 1970's 4 Bed detached house that has a roof that needs some attention, and trying to work out a ball park figure to see if it is worth going any further.

The Pitch Roof is about 80 square meters it bowes on one side slightly but what concerns me is that it has a destinctive dip close to one corner, so it needs some structural work as well as the re- tiling / slating.

The Flat roof is about 16 Square Meters and on a quick inspection all it requires is a recovering, sructually everthing looks good so far.

can anybody pitch up any ball park figures for what this all might cost?

many thanks

hi ProjectBoy
Just spoke with my Hubbie and he reckons the flat roof with three coverings of felt would cost you between 500 and 650.
As to the pitched roof, it would have to be inspected before any costs could be worked out, depending if there was any structural damage. Hope this helps. A ball park figure at this point would not be any good.
