Would love to go and watch the Starling formations, as mentioned on Autumnwatch, can anyone say where they are in the North Devon area at the moment.

Have you got any piers? The one in Brighton is a starling magnet with huge flocks, I wonder if piers have the same effect anywhere else.

Yes, Aberystwyth pier 'holds' around 20,000 Starlings easch year. Great to go and watch them.

Not quite as good as those in the photos but there are much bigger numbers than usual where I am (S Dorset) this year and they make a great spectacle.
