If you don't want to do all the chemicals [it sounds like the films are already developed] think about a negative scanner.

If you are going to do the developing of prints trying ebay for "Paterson" or maybe Jessops still do some stuff. I'd make contact prints first, film on top of paper in a darkroom, expose, then develop & fix the pix. Use a good magnifier to select the images you want.

As home developing is a bit of a thing from the past, a scanner [60+] maybe the cheapest option.

If you have the negatives then the film has been developed.I assume you now want prints.Simplest giving same size prints is contact printing,The negs are placed in a frame,in a darkroom, against sensitive paper and briefly exposed to light. The paper is then developed and fixed, again in a darkroom (which is lit with as safelight)
Alternatively get a scanner and convert to a digital image you can print via a computer/inkjet combination.
I agree with everything said here, except that if you choose to print the pix on a laserjet printer, should the paper at any time be exposed to moisture, the ink will run.

Using the old method of printing in a darkroom will produce more permanent results and you might find the whole process rather satisfying, especially if they have a strong emotional significance for you.

Thanks to everybody for all your advice
I have seen these gadgets for down loading on to computer etc but on investigation they are basically for 35mm slide and strip negatives and not for my type of negs also the same applies for the neg holder to scan on a printer. I will investigate ebay and see what is avaiable to redevelop as suggested. once again many thanks to all

various places will do it for you.
Take your negatives to them and they will scan them then put them onto a cd or dvd for you.then you can either load them onto pc or just print off whichever you want.

Try jessops or similiar
Canon do several scanners capable of larger negatives,as do Plustek/Mustek,all depends on how much you want to spend and in turn how many you want prints of.
