I have some very heavy cotton sateen fabric left over from making bedroom curtains. It would look fantstic as 'wallpaper' on one of the bedroom walls. I have absolutely no idea how to glue/fixit to the wall and my DIY and soft-furnishing books are no help.
Grateful for any suggestions.
Many thanks.

Hi tigerlelly, the best paste you could probably use is the ready made heavy duty type as it will not stain the fabric like ordinary ones would. Make sure you size the wall first using normal size or watered down paste and let it dry out completely before putting up the fabric.

Good luck.

It can be done, but you need a lot of patience. The fabric is inclined to stretch, an difficult to get it looking nice. When I did a similar, I found my local Crown shop able to get an adhesive for me. I feel sure it is a material used on caravan walls, but cant remember the name. It could look lovely.
