Carpet Stain help!!!

I have had a bright orange stain (it was on can of red bull that got spilled) on my cream carpet for several weeks and have tried many things to get it out (Vinegar/water, stain remover that cost a fortune on ebay, 1001 carpet shampoo), anyway nothing has worked so far so has anyone got any other ideas, i have heard vanish oxi action is great but does this work on old stains, hope someone can help!!!!
