Where can I get hold of a champagne coloured toilet. Cistern has cracked and we're trying to spruce up the bathroom without having to change the whole suite. Trouble is everything is white now ,no colours anymore. Any ideas?

White is in fashion and colours are out! Colours are from the 70's I am afraid Netty. Good luck anyway trying to find one.
There are various organisations that buy up the old colours from the manufacturers when they stop production. You can sometimes get a replacement from them. This is one such place.

Don't expect it to be cheap though - probably more expensive than the original because they have to store them for x years.
You could always try your local freecycle group - I gave away a pale avocado one just a few months ago. Here's the link:

No money changes hands and it keeps things out of landfill.

Everybody wins!

Good luck...

Try googling Discontinued Bathroom furniture and you may come up with a few options, including these:

Thanks so much for that offer G-ma Pat, but we've managed (touch wood) to do a temporary repair on the cistern and it seems to be ok at the moment. Think it might just last us until we change the suite which hopefully won't be too long! Thanks again though, very kind of you.
