i've been living in this house for just over a year, and the 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with carpets (cream). its not that they're mucky, i'd just like to give them a good clean, to lift up everything that the hoover doesn't. what do you suggest, and how much will it be? thanks x

I use a Rug Doctor. You can hire them from Tesco, Homebase and some dry cleaners for about 20 with detergent. Very easy to use and gets the carpets really clean.
Or invest in a Vax machine - we've got one and it is well worth the money. Buy directly from the manufacturer and it will be cheaper than a lot of the catalogues.
