I have a 60% cotton, 40% polyester jumper which I would like to shrink to fit me better. Is this possible? If so, how?

Cotton doesn't generally shrink, I actually find that my cotton jumpers stretch and don't return to their original shape when stretched
An alternative (although not quite as healthy) is to fill yourself with cream cakes and junk food, that way you won't have to shrink your jumper :p
