Do you ever feed it? It may be re-absorbing nutrients from older leaves in order to generate new growth. Give it a treat once a month with a suitably diluted dose of one of the proprietary brands of house-plant fertilizers.

HI MERSEYGAL,

You did'nt say if you have an indoor or outdoor Yukka, if its indoor watch out for red spider mite, which thrives in still dry atmostphere's that central heating can create. keep the sprays going and keep a look out for webbing under the leaves. good luck...

Hi

thanks for the replies, its an indoor yukka, no red spider mite that I am aware of, they usually bite me! I clean the leaves to keep them shiny so I would've noticed by now. I feed it in mar - sept but not in between, thought I wasn't supposed to, usually use ready mixed baby bio. Any more suggestions?
