Extractor Hoods! Integrated Or Chimney?

Hi All,
Having a kitchen refit and I just wondered before I decide. I know all the rage at the moment is for chimney extractor hoods instead of hidden integrated ones, but what are all the pro's & cons?

Any feedback apprieciated. TY

Check out the extract rates...apart from that its down to your preference.Make sure its vented to outside and not a charcoal type.

check also the noise rating. some of the really powerful ones are so noisy that you won’t want to use it.
