Well done to them, I hope that they are allowed to keep it, its not botheering anybody, its on their own land, not overlooked by anybody, or in anyone elses line of sight to bother them ( although why it would defeats me, i think it is beautiful ) I could live there. Why dont the council just us some common sense, and fine them for not appling for the planning...

No.........not my scene......I could never live there even with BOO.
It's lovely, would make a lovely holiday home.
Looks really lovely and innovative, I do hope they don't have to knock it down but....rules eh...shame when it's where it is.

You wouldn't live there permanently RR? It looks to have all the mod cons to me.

I love it Sqad, the worktop alone is a work of art, and no, im really not joking.
Sqad, I bet you'd blend in perfectly... wrinkled, a bit rough and gnarly, well aged and in need of a good polish.
I would live there in a heartbeat and they'd have to kill me before they demolished it if I'd built it.
snags...LOL
It's beautiful.
I would, it's gorgeous!
How is it heated?....
By lurve sqad lol?
Not my cup of tea - I think it is an eyesore.

And as for having to mow the roof......
daisya...........day and night?....;-)

Just seen a wood burner.....in the ....lounge.

Why dont the council just us some common sense, and fine them for not appling for the planning permission, issue them with a council tax bill for the property, and let them get on with their lives. X
I think I need to clean my keeyboard, the e buton sms to have a life of its own at the mo.

Dont see why not sqad? Central heating after all is a modern invention, its not a necessity.

Whilst i dont imagine it'll be tropical in there in deepest darkest winter, im willing to bet it's quite easy to heat. It is after all substantially insulted, its one giant room, rather than separate rooms needing heating and wooden which will also insulate 'em.
