Rusty Cooker Hobs

Hi. How can I remove rust from the Hobs on an electric cooker.I think a wire brush may be too severe.Thanks in advance.

Try a normal pan scourer and a decent kitchen cleaning spray or normal strength bleach perhaps?

I would use a brillo pad.

Use a squirt of wd40 and a scouring pad

If they're the solid disc type, a wire brush won't harm them. Otherwise, if they're the spiral type, then as above, (and, leaving spiral type rings fully 'on' for some minutes may well make some of the rust easier to remove).
