My mum has Vokera gas boiler, which I know very little about.A few weeks ago I stayed with her and it was making an awful lot of noise. When I looked at the dial the pressure was into red,I found the manual and decided to turn it off, as I wasn't sure how to get the pressure back up.When my husband came the following day he adjusted the pressure as per instructions and it was fine. The problem is that it's losing pressure now in less than a week,is this normal?

No its not. Something is leaking water. Start by looking at the pressure relief valve (that may be leaking water below it's normal relief escape pressure of 3 to 4 bar).
