has anyone tried this?
putting them inside out and washing them in cold? you must be joking!
How can they get away with saying that is true when it definitely isn't (not with my kid's socks anyway)?

Have you noticed that the barmy milk add with the dustbin size cup saying that it contains as much iron as this much real milk is not showing at the moment. Sometimes it takes a while for the powers that be to spot these wrong things. Have you tried writing to Watchdog? I am sure they would have a whale of a time with this one.
I thought that when I saw it, it's just rubbish. I must have used ten or more types of washing powder/gel/tablets over the past ten years at varying temps and never have I seen a pair of dirty white socks come out bright white!
I was said if I am ever a multi millionaire I will wear brand new socks every day. Dirty socks never, ever wash clean.
Black socks are the answer!!
Load of rubbish, bit like the adverts where we are supposed to believe that top actresses really use home hair colourants and faff around like that.
Next time you see the advert look at the bottom of the screen it will say something like, "Previously washed with Ariel on a 15 degrees wash".
...and with hair extensions and lash inserts (whatever they are).
