Sounds like Chocolate Spot. Google Broad Beans Problems and read the top article and scroll down to page two. Perhaps an AB will link it, I never get it right.

Thanks guys looks like this crop is ruined.
This is a new plot im using this year so it looks like some work on the soil this winter.
